With more than 15,000 security patches in the PatchLink Update repository, you are sure to have the right remediation content to define a baseline NAC policy that meets your unique requirements. Once you’ve established the patch policy that each connecting machine must meet, you can leverage the PatchLink Update agents that are already reside in your environment to determine if the machine complies. No new agents are required. And PatchLink Update will allow you to understand, in advance, the impact that your NAC solution will have on your end-users’ access. By leveraging your existing PatchLink Update solution, you can shorten your implementation time and reduce the total cost of your NAC solution. Automated Enforcement of Endpoint Security Policies
PatchLink NAC Integrator enables you to define the minimum patch and vulnerability management policies that must be met by each machine before it is granted access your network. These policies can be set globally at the enterprise level or at individual group levels to meet the unique needs of your organization. For example, contractors attempting to access your network from a wireless access point may be required to pass a more stringent policy test than sales personnel accessing the network via a VPN. If a machine contains the patches required by the policy, and thus passes the baseline policy check, PatchLink NAC Integrator will communicate an ‘approved’ patch policy status to your NAC solution.
